Before building the bed frame, I wanted to use my CAD experience to plan and explore options for the design. I drafted the lumber in Solidworks, and assembled the pieces to see how the bedframe would look. Once I found a design that I liked, I purchased the necessary lumber, cut, sanded, and assembled the bed frame.
The below image shows the assembled and installed bedframe! It works great, and was very fun to make!
